Battle of Paste on brush
Wake up with a grin. ‘Amma Amma…Amma hair, she loves playing with mommy’s hair. Trying to count them, name them! Unos, dos, tres! Yes, in mood for counting in Spanish today. Ok, time to get out of bed! Nooo! Amma thuki- Amma-thuki! OK, come let’s pick you up! Waaaah waaaah! What now? Want to cry just because! And no, don’t touch the diaper to check. But yes, keep holding me! Ufff!...Ok,come, lets brush now!Ok, big smile. :) Yay, Dora brush! Take the brush to apply the paste, Noooooo, No MY Dora brush, MY! Yes kanna, it is yours, let me put the paste and give you. Nooooo, My! Wah waah! Ok now you have it, brush! Yay, Dora brush! Smiles again!

Battle of Attire-change/ Breakfast 0836
Dora is playing on TV. The Dora-spell is made use of to get her into fresh clothes. Every time the thermal/tee-shirt/top goes down from head to neck, obstructing her vision, Aaaaaaarrrrhhhhh, a scream! And this being winter doesn’t help! Dora & Boots lets Jump! Jump, Jump, Jump! And so jumping we finish the top. Now comes the bottom, the bigger challenge. Diaper change, Wah Wah, enna kanna, Noooooo, Nooo diaper! You have to go to school ma, wear your diaper. Dora Diaper? Yay, ok! But Nooooo pants. Ugh? Ok kanna, come here, and somehow manage the diaper & pants. Dora & Boots lets Jump! Jump, Jump, Jump! Now breakfast! Oats and honey gets gulped down as fast as Dora’s songs go by. Phew!

War of 0903, Car-seat
Yay, let’s go to school. Jacket, check! Mittens Check! Cap, check! Bye appa! As much love there is to the car, that much hate is offered to the car-seat! Waah, waah! Kick, Kick! Sit down kutti; I’ll play you the ABC song! Noooooo, ball...ball. Ok, will get you a new ball. Nooooo! Ball, ball! Oh you want that li’l ball, here you go, take it. Nooooo, My ball! Yes, I know, that’s why I gave it!!! And suddenly calms down magically! Ok, good! Drive along listening to songs. Mood visibly scaling up! We sing together, smile and clap. Reach the school. As we enter the class, she holds me mighty tight. Amma, Amma! Don’t worry baby, Amma is back in a bit to pick you up ok? Nooooo, shakes her head. Don’t you want to play with S, L and P? Mmmmmm thinks for a while. Then the magic starts, Dora song comes up on the class recorder and she jumps, skips and runs to it. Bye Amma! Happily starts dancing with the rest of her friends. What a pretty memory to go to work with!

Haaa! One more day, done! For now! The pandemonium starts again in the evening! When is she turning 3? And No, I don’t want to know that 3 is worse! No, Ok?
